Business Blaster Young Entrepreneurship Scheme 2024
The AAP government is committed to transforming Punjab’s education system into a global leader, ensuring that graduates from public schools face a promising future. The aim is to shift government school students from being “job seekers” to “job creators,” supporting local businesses in the state. Initially, the program will launch in 31 schools across nine districts in Punjab, including Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Patiala, Sangrur, Hoshiarpur, Ferozepur, Ropar, and SAS Nagar (Mohali).
Beginning with the next academic year, this initiative will expand to all government schools in Punjab. The program will start by gathering students’ initial business ideas, which will then be evaluated by experienced entrepreneurs. Groups of eight students will be formed to develop the most promising projects, receiving comprehensive guidance throughout the process.

Under the leadership of CM Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government has introduced the Business Blaster Young Entrepreneur Scheme to support this vision. Aiming to nurture young entrepreneurs from an early age, the scheme will provide class 11 students with seed funding of Rs 2,000 to kick-start their own businesses.

- The program will not only assist government school students in finding employment, but it will also help the state with several issues
