Jagananna Chedodu Scheme is initially started by Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr.YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy on 20th June 2020. This scheme was started with the purpose to support local businessmen of the state. Traditional hairdressers or barbers, laundrymen, and tailors are eligible to apply for this scheme. The beneficiaries are provided incentives worth Rs.10000 on a yearly basis. The government has provided help of Rs.42,465 crore to approximately 3.58 Lakh beneficiaries.

YSR Jagananna Chedodu Scheme 2021

This scheme was started as a way to support the small business of Andhra Pradesh state. Those people who are Traditional hairdressers or barbers, laundrymen, and tailors can avail of the benefits offered under this scheme. This scheme is only open for the people who are permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh. The aim is to boost the local economy of the state by supporting micro-business. The beneficiaries will be provided incentives annually so they can grow their business.

Incentive under AP Jagananna Chedodu Scheme

The people belong to Rajakas, Nayee Brahmin, and Tailors community belong to BC (Backward Class), EBC (Economically Backward Class) and Kapu category are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The beneficiaries will receive incentives of Rs.10000 on yearly basis to support their business. The amount will be transferred directly to the bank account of the candidate through DBT. The candidates can check their account balance to see if they have received the amount.
