Karnataka Arundhati Scheme 2024
As you all know that the state government of Karnataka keeps running many welfare schemes for the people of the state from time to time. Many schemes have been made for backward caste tribes and backward class people, but this time Karnataka government is going to help the Brahmins category. The Government of Karnataka has launched the Karnataka Arundhati Scheme to provide monetary assistance to Brahmin brides which has created a political stir.
According to government officials, Arundhati Yojana will help poor people in the Brahmin category. Under the Arundhati Yojana, the bride who belongs to a Brahmin family will be given a financial assistance of Rs 25,000 for her wedding. The scheme will be overseen by the State Brahmin Development Board. According to the information received from the officials, 550 families will be benefited under the scheme.

Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka Arundhati Scheme
- Only permanent residents of Karnataka state can avail benefits by applying under the scheme.
- The candidate should be of Brahmin category.
- The benefit of the scheme is only for the economically poor class of applicants.
- Brahmins from the technically backward class of the society can also take advantage of this scheme.
- There is also a condition in the plan that the bride should be from the Brahmin community, and this should be her first marriage.
- The married couple must also promise to stay married for a certain period of time.
