Mukhyamantri Matrushakti Yojana 2024
The scheme Mukhyamantri Matrushakti Yojana is started by the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi in Vadodara district the state of Gujarat. Initially the scheme was started by the Women and Child Development Department. The main objective of the Mukhyamantri Matrushakti Yojana is to provide nutritious food to pregnant women to maintain their health and that of their unborn child. Under this scheme women are provided assistance for 1,000 days by the Government of Gujarat. A total provision of 811 crore has been made by the government which will further increase up to 4,000 crore.

Objectives of Mukhyamantri Matrushakti Yojana
The objectives of this Scheme are as follows:
- The primary objective of the scheme is to provide the financial assistance to the pregnant and lactating women.
- Another objective of the scheme is to provide nutritious food to pregnant women to maintain their health and that of their unborn child.
Benefits & Features of Mukhyamantri Matrushakti Yojana

- During the initial 1000 days, nutritious food will be provided to pregnant and lactating women and their newborn children.
- This programme has been introduced to address pregnancy-related anaemia and malnutrition, which harm the foetus and result in poor infant health.
- This program is going to reduce stunting and premature delivery.
- Better nutrition will be provided to both mother and child.
- This scheme will improve the standard of living of the beneficiaries and will help in becoming self-dependent.
- All pregnant and lactating women, as well as those beneficiaries who are registered as pregnant or are moms of children of up to age 2 in the software of health department, will be able to benefit from this programme.
- The government is going to provide 2 kg of chickpeas, 1 kg of toor dal and one litre of groundnut oil from the Anganwadi Centre.
- The government has also allocated a budget of Rs 811 crore for the implementation of this scheme.
- The government is prepared to set aside Rs. 4000 crore for this scheme’s implementation over the following five years.

Registration Procedure under Mukhyamantri Matrushakti Yojana
- Visit the Official Website.
- On homepage under the option of “Services” click on “self-registration”.
- Fill the registration form which includes your Aadhar card number, name, date of birth,etc. then click on Validate Aadhar.
- Now enter your ration card member Id, name, mobile number etc and then click on send OTP.
- Enter the OTP and click on Save and next.
- Now enter the beneficiary pregnancy information and click on submit.
- You are now registered under the Mukhyamantri Matrushakti Yojana program.
