Seva Sindhu Shakti Smart Card :- have been released by the Karnataka government. The state government’s Shakti scheme aims to give women in the state access to free bus travel. Women are allowed to travel without restrictions, but they must reserve 50% of the seats on this card for men. Congress promised to put into effect a scheme that would give women free public transportation in its manifesto for the Karnataka Assembly elections. When Siddaramaiah assumed the position of Chief Minister, the government provided the programme with in principle approval as well as four additional guarantees. The Shakti scheme was set to take effect on 11 June according to a statement made by the Karnataka government in June. From the starting point to the destination, the conductors must deliver the ladies listed on the tickets zero fare tickets and the government will compensate the transportation providers depending on the distance travelled.

- First you have to visit the official website of the Seva Sindhu portal.
- The homepage will appear on your screen.
- You have to click on the Apply for Shakti Smart Card option.
- A new page will open on your screen.
- Enter all the login details if you have already registered, under this if you are not already registered on the portal.
- Click on the New Registration option.
- Enter all the required details in the form.
- After the registration, login with the details and Apply for the smart card.
Applying Status
- First you have to visit the official website of the Seva Sindhu portal.
- The homepage will appear on your screen.
- Select the Check your Application Status option.
- Enter the required details in the form such as Select Dept, Select Service and Application ID.
- Click on the Check Status Now button.
