Assam Shiksha Setu Portal 2024
The Shiksha Setu Assam Portal was formally introduced on April 24 at a ceremony in Guwahati. Students between the ages of 6 and 14 are eligible for this programme. In the same areas where the government is offering free education to children between the ages of 6 and 14, all other categories, such as SC, OBC, general category and Muslims minority females would also receive the same services.
The programme was introduced to the Assam people by Hemanta Biswas Sharma, the chief minister of Assam and the state’s minister of education. During preparation for the site’s introduction, School Profile Update Week was conducted throughout the State of Assam from April 24 through 30 2023. The programme will be introduced on 18 December 2023.
