Navasakam Scheme 2022
The state government of Andhra Pradesh has introduced a Navasakam Scheme in which citizens of the state can take benefits from different welfare schemes. Over 3.5 crore residents of the state have benefited from the government’s social programmes. The government has added that up to May 2020, the government has provided welfare programs to recipients totaling Rs. 40139 crore. From this sum, backward class recipients received Rs. 19,298 crores, scheduled caste recipients received Rs. 6,332 crores, scheduled tribe recipients received Rs. 2,108 crores, and other recipients received Rs. 10,472 crores.

Objective of AP YSR Navaskam Scheme
The main objective of the Navasakam Scheme is to provide the different welfare benefits to the citizens of the state in which the needy and backward categories are benefited also with the welfare the various opportunities will be created for the Youth.

List of Welfare in AP YSR Navaskam Scheme
- YSR Amma Vod: Who fall below the poverty level would get financial help under the Amma Vodi Scheme.
- YSR Rice Card: In order to qualify for benefits under this programme, a family’s monthly income must be less than Rs. 10,000 in rural regions and Rs. 12,000 in urban areas.
- Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Card & Jagananna Vidya Deevena Card: The government would offer students studying Polytechnic, ITI, Degree and above level courses in Government, Aided, Private Colleges a Vidya Deevena Card for 100% fee reimbursement and a Vasathi Deevena Card for food and hostel costs of Rs. 20,000/- per year.
- YSR Aarogyasri Card: The government would assist anybody with an annual salary of up to 5 lakh rupees, who does not own more than one personal automobile, owns less than 12 acres of wetland, less than 35 acres of dry land, or less than a total of 35 acres of both, and does not work for the government.
- AP YSR Kapu Nestam:YSR Kapu Nestam promotes the financial empowerment of Kapu women over the age of 45. By improving their possibilities for employment and living conditions, financial support of Rs. 75,000 would be given at a rate of Rs. 15,000 a year.
- YSR Netanna Nestham: A weaver family that owns a handloom would receive financial help from the government each year in the amount of Rs. 24000 under the YSR Netanna Nestham.
- YSR Pension Kanuka Card: The government would distribute pension cards under the YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme to those over 60 whose household income is less than Rs. 10,000 in rural regions and Rs. 12,000 in urban areas.
- YSR Cheyutha Scheme: Women from SC, ST, OBC, and minority communities will get financial support totaling Rs. 75,000 or Rs. 18750 a year over the course of four years through the YSR Cheyutha Scheme.
- AP YSR Sunna Vaddi: The government will pay the interest component of the outstanding SHG bank loan amount under the YSR Sunna Vaddi for the fiscal years 2019–20.
- Honorarium to Imams, Muazams, Pastors and increase in salaries to Archakas: In accordance with this plan, the government has committed to paying honoraria to pastors, imams, and muezzins as well as raising archakas’ wages.
- Financial Assistance to Nayee Brahmins, Rajakas and Tailors:Through this scheme, the government would provide financial aid of Rs. 10,000 per year to the Nayee Brahmins, Rajakas, and Tailors in the BC community.
