Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana has been launched by the Odisha government to provide health insurance up to Rs.5 lakh per family per year under the scheme. Objective of Odisha Swasthya Kalyan Yojana
We all know that there are many citizens in the state of Odisha who are from economically weaker section and due to a lack of financial funds all of them are not getting proper treatment. In view of all these things, a new scheme has been started through the government of Odisha state named Odisha Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana. With the help of this scheme, free treatment will be provided to the poor citizens of the state, and about Rs. 5 lakh health insurance will be given to the people belonging to the economically weaker sections. The main objective of starting the BSKY Health Card by the Odisha government is to provide free health facilities.
Issuance of BSKY Health Card
The government has decided to extend the Odisha Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana to provide the beneficiaries in all the districts of the state. All the districts of this state will be covered by the state by 14th November 2021. UTI Infrastructure Technology and Services Limited is responsible for issuing Smart Health Card. The BSKY Health Card will be available to every family, about 1.85 will be prepared for 92.50 beneficiaries.
