- Additionally, in situations of accidents and beneficiary natural deaths, parents would get Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 42,500 respectively. After 18 years the recipient will receive Rs. 34,751.

- Working with children is not appropriate for girls.
- For BPL households with up to two female children, the Bhagya lakshmi scheme offers benefits.

- The maturity amount is only available to girls who have finished the eighth grade and who have not been married off before the age of 18.
