Shat Pratishat Scheme 2021 also known as Mission 100% was initiated in order to get better school results, Punjab Shat Pratishat Scheme is to permit school-going students to achieve 100% results in their annual examination inside of being under the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic epidemic. This scheme of the Punjab Government should help the students to score good marks. This Scheme has been initiated by the Punjab state government. Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has inaugurated Shat Pratishat scheme or Mission 100% on 7 November 2020. Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has also notified to create 8,393 pre-primary school teachers posts and stated that these posts would be filled soon by the Education Department.

The state government of Punjab has initiated a scheme known as Shat Pratishat Scheme also known as Mission 100 percent. This scheme was virtually introduced in order to get 100% results in annual examinations in spite of the Covid crisis. Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh also introduced 1,467 smart schools in the state. Further Punjab government distributed 2,625 tablets to the candidates in almost 372 government primary schools. While Chief Minister virtually introduced mission 100%, he was also connected with teachers, students and their parents from almost 4,000 schools, MLA’s, Ministers, Officials and Non-teaching staff through WebEx, You Tube and Facebook.

Dispense for Welfare of Teaching Staff

Captain led government has settled almost 14,064 contractual teachers. He has also classified various measures that have been undertaken for the welfare of the teaching staff. Further Captain led government has also set-forth Self Defence training to female physical education teachers which are below the age of 50 years. This training helps them to teach karate to all-girl candidates who study in government schools. CM has ordered executives to depict a detailed plan for the promotion of the Punjabi language and also improvement of Patiala Central Library which was facing severe fund shortage.

Official Language as Punjabi

Chief Minister identified that in 1940 after replacing Persian language Punjabi had become the official language in Patiala. He recalled Patiala’s long-standing relationship with Punjabi. The first Punjabi typewriter in 1938 was made in 1938 by Captain’s grandfather Maharaja Bhupinder Singh. Chief Minister Amarinder Singh also noticed  that Punjabi had been entitled  the official language in Canada and the UK, where a huge number of Punjabis were settled, thus gave a global recognition to the Punjabi language. Chief Minister Amarinder Singh also expressed that “Punjabi language should live and grow in the hearts and minds of every Punjabi. He also gave stress to the importance of English and other foreign languages to empower candidates to participate globally”. Captain Amarinder Singh also stated that in government schools more than 3.7 lakh candidates had chosen English medium.

Shat Pratishat Scheme (Mission 100%) to make stronger Digital Education Infrastructure

Punjab Shat Pratishat Scheme focuses to make the digital education infrastructure stronger in schools through e-books, EDUSAT lectures, e-content and also inline classes through Zoom App. Shat Pratishat Scheme Punjab will also improve the levels in government schools. It had also been observed that Government schools had witnessed enormous improvement in quality and performance in the past 3 years. This would be done in line with the state government’s decision to check all the wrongdoings in board examinations

New Smart Schools for Candidates

Smart Schools have a great contribution in expanding the educational levels in Punjab. Chief Minister Amarinder Singh stated that there are total 19,107 schools in the Punjab state out of which 6,832 were already Smart Schools and now more 1,467 were added on 7 November 2020. Chief Minister also stated that almost 13,859 projectors will be provided to the remaining schools of Punjab state in order to make them Smart Schools. In addition to this, Chief Minister Amarinder Singh stated that a budgetary provision of Rs. 100 crores had been made this year for digitization of schools. Earlier, Cabinet minister Vijay Inder Singla had mentioned that while 8,393 posts had been advertised, more would be filled up in due course.
