Benefits for CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023
The Benefits for this scholarship is given below:
- Under this scheme, eligible 11th-grade students would get Rs. 500 each month or Rs. 6000 annually.
- Additionally, under this scholarship, children who are enrolled in class 12 will also receive Rs 500 each month. This sum will total Rs 6000 for the entire year.
- Students who apply through the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship will get a two year, total scholarship award of Rs. 12,000.
- This scholarship benefit amount will be especially helpful to the student who lacks the resources to continue his studies.
Eligibility Criteria
- The only child of their parents, a woman and a permanent resident of India are requirements for applicants to the scholarship scheme.
- Such children, who are twins together and more than this, will also be qualified to benefit from this award. Any other child in the household will not be eligible except these.
- Every student must be enrolled in a school that is connected with the Central Board of Secondary Education and be in class XI or XII.
- The monthly tuition for pupils enrolled in the current school cannot be more than Rs. 1500.
- The tuition fee for the student should rise from its existing level by 10% during the following two years. Higher fees will not be accepted.
- The candidate must have completed class X with at least 60% in order to qualify for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship.
- If an NRI student wants to use this option, he or she must be enrolled in a CBSE-affiliated school in order to submit an application.
- Along with this, the NRI student must also satisfy the remaining requirements; only then will he be eligible to apply for this award.
- The sole distinction for these students is that their monthly tuition should not be more than Rs 6,000.
For Renewal
- The candidate for this scholarship must have taken CBSE class XI the previous academic year.
- The CBSE Single Girl Child Merit Scholarship will be renewed, and students who received the benefit the previous year will also be eligible.
- The candidate student must have been promoted to class XII with at least a 50% grade point average in class XI.
- The class X student receiving the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship may have monthly tuition costs that do not exceed Rs 1,500.

- You have to click the link SGC-X Fresh Application option and if you want to upgrade your click on the SGC-X Renewal link
- A new page will appear on your screen.
- Enter your roll number and date of birth
- Click on the Proceed button
- Now you have to upload your documents and click on the upload documents option
- Noe click on the Proceed button
- Now you need to generate a Confirmation Page to do this
- Click the Confirmation Page option
- The confirmation page can only be generated by users whose applications have been accepted
