Duare Duare Paschim Banga Sarkar Scheme 2023 launched by WB Government. Under this Scheme, Government to set up camps in blocks at your doorstep. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has launched two schemes on 22 November 2020 at a programme held at Sidhu Kanhu Indoor Stadium, Durgapur. Where the name of the first one scheme is this Scheme (West Bengal government at every doorstep) and the second one is “Karmai Dharma” (Work is Worship) scheme. Under the DuareDuare Paschim Banga Sarkar Scheme state government officials will organize camps in each block and make public welfare schemes accessible to common people and the Karmai Dharma initiative will help unemployed youth to get self-employment and to run their household expenses.

Duare Duare Paschim Banga Sarkar Scheme 2023
The Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee during an administrative meeting in Bankura announced that the door-to-door government scheme will run from December 1 to January 31. Every service of the government will be extended to every person. Camps will be held in each block on every day from 11 am. The main objective of the West Bengal government with this Doorstep scheme is to resolve the grievances of the people starting at the block level. Features of Duare Duare Paschim Banga Sarkar Scheme
The main features of Duare Paschim Banga Sarkar Scheme are as follows:
- As a part of the plan, the West Bengal state government will set up camps in each block.
- The camps will serve as a center for redress of grievances of the people.
- The officers present in the camp by the state government will look into the needs of the people and try to fulfill them.
- The setup of the camps will be started by the state government from 1 December 2020.
Karmai Dharma Scheme
In the Karmai Dharma scheme launched by the state government of West Bengal, the state government will provide 2 lakh motorcycles to the unemployed youth. All unemployed candidates in the state can apply for their livelihood in this self-employment scheme. Financial assistance will be provided under the Karmai Dharma scheme with assistance from cooperative banks. Boxes will be placed on the back of the bike to carry items sold. The youth of the country can sell sarees, clothes or any other item. CM Mamta Banerjee has also said that the government will provide 100% scholarship to those in real need.
Features of Karmai Dharma Scheme
The West Bengal Karmai Dharma Scheme has following features:
- Two lakh youths of the state will be given one motorbike each, under the scheme, for carrying on small businesses.
- The amount for the motorbike will be provided with the help of cooperative banks.
- Boxes will be fitted on the backside of the bikes so that the items sold can be easily carried on the bike.
