Karnataka Shakti Scheme 2023
The Shakti Scheme was launched by the Karnataka government to benefit the state’s female residents. Under this programme, ladies would be able to ride buses operated by Karnataka Roadways for free. Women will be able to travel wherever in the state thanks to this scheme. Instead, they won’t be charged for bus fare. Women who are beneficiaries must apply for a smart card in order to use the Shakti Scheme. Only with the smart card will state ladies be able to take advantage of the free bus service. 50% of the seats on state run buses operated by KSRTC, NWKRTC and KKRTC would be set aside for males.
