The Maharashtra government has launched the Gharkul Scheme to offer housing options to the state’s underprivileged citizens from scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and navbodh class. eligible citizens will be made available through this SDM by the government houses so that these people can also live in pucca houses for which All citizens will be provided the facility of online application. The Maharaj government’s scheme will benefit more than 5,100,000 families in the state. A target has been set for this scheme to provide housing facilities from which 1.5 lakh families have so far benefitted. Also known as the beneficiary identification, whereby The concerned gram panchayat or municipal body will be entrusted with the responsibility of identification of the beneficiary.
