On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day in its state, the Karnataka government launched the Karnataka Skill Connect Portal. Over 1.18 crore people in the age range of 20 to 29 are present in Karnataka state, which has about 55 percent of its population of working age. The state government of Karnataka is launching a program called One District One Skill with this in mind.
